EGO
What is EGO?
IUP's English Graduate Organization (EGO) serves many functions. EGO is a place where you can share your ideas, concerns and graduate experience with your peers. The organization serves as a place to make friends, learn about and participate in events, and to ensure that your voice as a graduate English student is heard.
What does EGO do?
Here's just a sample list of some of the things EGO has done in the past or plans to do:
* Organizes and participates in conferences * Plans workshops relevant to English graduate students * Attends events of interest in the area (such as art shows, lectures, etc...) * Holds the annual Book Sale * And much more...
I'm really busy. Do I have the time it takes to be a part of EGO?
EGO is an organization created for English Graduate students. You can choose which parts of EGO you would like to be involved in. You can attend or participate in a conference or workshop, tell EGO about ideas you have, or come to a social event or meeting. The level of commitment and involvement is up to you.
How do I join?
Every student enrolled in an English Graduate Program is automatically a member of EGO. If you'd like to find out more or get the latest news, sign up to EGO's list-serv or keep visiting the website for the latest news.
