    Hi! My name is Amanda Scott and I am eighteen years old. I attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania (otherwise known as IUP). To check out IUP go to www.iup.edu. This is my first year here and already I absolutely love it. Just to let you know a little about myself, I grew up in the small town of Mt. Pleasant. (It's about an hour away from Pittsburgh)  During my high school years I was very active. I participated in various activities. I was a cheerleader all of my high school years and became captain my senior year. I really love cheerleading and if you do to you should check out www.cheerleading.com. Other activities I participated in were the Interact Club, S.A.D.D., Environmental Awareness Club, Heart to Heart Club, Psychology Club; I was a prom committee chairperson and a member of the Cymbal newspaper staff.  I have to admit that I loved high school and I kind of miss it, but just some things about it. Like Fridays, we would decorate the halls in our school colors for the football game and have a pep rally in the gym. Those were the good old days.  I still love football and enjoy watching the games that we have now on Saturday nights. (I also enjoy seeing the football players, because most of them are really hot!!!!) I am very into athletics. I love to play any sport. If I had a chance I would love to play football, it is the one thing I want to do more than anything, but I can't really because I am a girl and a tiny one at that. Oh well I guess I'll have to deal. I have to share with you my two most favorite bands; fuel and the Clarks. The Clarks are a band, which originated around my hometown. They are absolutely awesome. I have seen them in concert three times. If you want to check out the Clarks go to www.clarksonline.com and you will see just how great they are. Plus the lead singer is really hot!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now Fuel is another one of my favorites. I saw them in concert and they were unbelievable!!!! I listen to their CD like every day. Wow, listen to me go on about myself. I should probably tell you that I am an elementary education major. I absolutely love children. I am so excited to actually be in a classroom with my very own students. I have always worked with kids and it seems like teaching would be the best thing for me to do with my life.
