Nine additional semester hours of electives approved by the Director of Graduate Studies in Composition and TESOL and the Director of Graduate Studies in Literature & Criticism. Up to six of these semester hours may be taken outside of the English Department. In addition, with the approval of a thesis advisor, a student may, as a part of this requirement, register for from one to six hours of EN 850, Thesis.
