In Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Stapleton Library during February 2002 was housed a library display entitled "Edward Abbey: Internationally Famous Author and Environmentalist from Indiana County." This display included some striking photographs, first editions, and other rare materials, several of them from my collection and the rest from IUP Special Collections. This display was initiated and arranged by staff member Gerrie Coy.
