about writer interview
- I want to hear what your group
thought about the project, developing your interview questions,
what the person said in response to those questions, what
interviewing the writer has led you to think about teaching
writing, etc. (and all in only 2-3 pages!!!)--Basically, I want
to see what, as a group, interviewing this writer helped you
learn about teaching writing
- you may meet as a group to
write this or trade drafts via email
- a collaboratively written
paper is an excellent way to think about what your group got out
of the interview and to hear what other people thought
- one model for this would
be to discuss a few highlights from what the writer said and
then what those highlights cause the group to think about in
terms of pedagogy
- a paper in which each person
contributes to an overall theme or set of issues would also be
fine
- one nice model for this
approach is to offer a general introduction and conclusion
raising some key issues with individual commentary about
those issues making up the body of the paper
- be sure your group has also turned
in a digital recording of your writer
