Organizations - Organizations give students the opportunity for professional development, leadership, and social interaction outside of the classroom. Involvement in student organizations will enhance your experiences in college and may assist you in obtaining a job after college. Organizations are not only available for you to join but also provide valuable services that can assist you throughout your studies at IUP.
Research Centers and Institutes - Centers and institutes serve a variety of functions. Each center or institute is unique in its focus and is created to meet a specifically identified need. Centers and institutes provide an opportunity for professionals to utilize their expertise through consultation, technical assistance, and research-related activities. Centers and institutes also provide excellent opportunities for students to learn, to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, and to become involved in meaningful projects in the community. Centers and institutes strengthen the research and public service missions of the university and, therefore, enhance the quality of education.
Projects - Projects also serve a variety of functions. Each project is designed by Faculty members in order to enhance and assist understanding and development of Literature and Composition studies.
