The Next

Step Program

Next Step Program Overview

The Next Step Program was created to help encourage students from public schools in Western Pennsylvania to seek post-secondary education. The program has been in existence for ten years and has helped hundreds of students seek college educations. The program identifies young students, usually in seventh, eighth, or ninth grade, who come from families where college education has not been the tradition or which face economic challenges. The Next Step Program provides campus life and courses experiences, financial aid counseling, SAT preparation, and cultural enrichment experiences to students and their families. We encourage all students to seek more education after graduating from high school.
